Beyond the Mood Management course…

After completing the Mood Management course, you’re welcome to continue your journey with SisterTalk through our follow-on courses.

These follow-on courses are designed to build on the CBT skills you’ve already learned and further support your emotional wellbeing.

Future groups introduce a broader range of evidence-based cognitive behavioural approaches, including skills from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches offer additional ways to work with thoughts, emotions, and life challenges, helping you continue to grow your skills and confidence over time.

Many women also choose to continue as a way of maintaining a regular, supportive weekly space dedicated to their mental health and staying connected with a supportive peer group.

Fees for follow-on courses

After the Mood Management course, follow-on SisterTalk courses involve a gap fee for those with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan. The gap fee is $52 per group session and $71.50 per individual session.

Mental Health Treatment Plans are renewed annually through your GP, meaning you may be eligible for further rebated sessions each year with a new referral.

For participants without a Mental Health Treatment Plan, the fee is $122 per group session and $211.50 per individual pre or post group session.
